KITCHEN ASSISTANT/CLEANER

Aneesa’s Fast Food is a well-established fast-food outlet seeking to employ a Kitchen Assistant, Chip Griller and Cleaner to join their nightshift team.

The main purpose of the job is to provide exceptional customer service in the kitchen and around the store, thereby maximizing selling opportunities and minimizing risk to the business. The Assistant/ Cleaner would be responsible for frying off and preparing a variety of foods as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen area.

The successful candidate would have good customer skills and have a friendly disposition.


Key duties include but are not limited to:


Preparing high quality food in a timely manner (hence fast food)

Able to accept and follow instructions

Capable of using a frying machine· Prepare meals in a timely manner

Capable of doing basic cleaning tasksFamiliar with sanitation regulations

Experience preferred but not essential

Training will be provided

Qualifications and experience needed:

Grade 10

Reside in or around the Athlone area

Clear Criminal record

Basic Literacy Skills

Basic numeracy skills

The position would require the candidate to perform shift work with rotational shifts, on a weekly basis. The operational hours of the business are 10:00- 23:00 Monday to Sunday and the successful candidate must be flexible to work within the operation.


Uniform will be provided and must be worn daily.


Must reside in ATHLONE area as night shift position


Job Type: Full-time


Salary: R28.00 per hour
