To receive, store and issue goods to ensure uninterrupted supply of required material and equipment to the company.

Specification

Responsibilities:


Goods Processing


Picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently and on time.

Assist internal and external queries.

Receive, store and issue goods against requisitions.

Oversee the daily movement and storage of goods.

Ensure the right quantity and quality is received at all times.

Daily ordering for IBT stock (Stock Transfers) and discrepancies on IBT stock to be highlighted on order copy.

Handling and receiving of credits.

Coordinating and overseeing special deliveries and rollouts.

Invoicing and dispatching of collection/delivery/courier orders.

Monitoring usage of consumables, invoicing and handing consumables to users.

Handling , coordinating cancelled orders and requests for orders to be cancelled.


Stock Taking

Daily and weekly stock counts and reporting of stock discrepancies to Logistics Manager.

Count stock and report variances between actual and expected stock levels.

Daily/weekly/monthly/yearly reports and statistics of operations.


Housekeeping

Contribute to the improvement of a safe work environment in work area.

Reporting all accidents and hazards.

Maintain safe and tidy/clean warehouse.


General

Participate in improvement initiatives.

Maintain risk management initiatives such as security and health and safety.




Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:


Matric

Valid drivers license

At least 1 year applicable warehouse/stores experience in ICT

Warehousing, logistics and/or supply chain Diploma/certificate

Storekeeping & Stock control certificate


Skills and Knowledge:


Basic mathematics principles

Stock taking

Health and safety

Best storage practices to mitigate risk in terms of damage, loss of stock

Inventory keeping

Use of systems and information technology

Good organizational skills

Using information technology

Good interpersonal skills

Good oral and written communication skills
