Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for a Store Assistant who will be responsable to ensure the effective & efficient management of the maintenance engineering stores on a day to day basis so that stock is managed in a professional manner to offset shrinkage & financial loss & to ensure that the best possible prices are obtained in respect of parts or services purchased by DSFM without sacrificing quality.

Duties & Responsibilities

Management of stores

Ensure efficient & effective day to day management of engineering stores.

Ensure stores are always kept neat & tidy.

Stores operating practice

Ensure that best operating practice is applied in administrating stores.

Procurement

Ensure that the correct parts or service is ordered & approved on Infor EAM by the Senior Financial Administrator.

The parts or service is ordered at the right price from the approved supplier.

The parts or service ordered is received on time with the correct price quoted & quantity without comprising on quality.

Damaged & incorrect parts to be returned to supplier for replacement or credit.

Ensure all source documents are forwarded to finance department.

Conduct regular supplier evaluations.

Order maintenance supplies.

Order stationery supplies.

Receiving of all stock items and entering stock onto the stock control register.

Ensure that all stock drawn from the store is correctly booked out.

Ensure that stock returned on completion of a job is booked back into the store.

Ensure that new stock is ordered before stock is depleted.

Carry out frequent stock take.

Control the issue of keys.

Comply with timekeeping by clocking in and out at commencement and conclusion off each and every shift.

Carry out any duties as required and instructed by Drake & Scull management.

Stock control

Effective stock control in terms of capturing & issuing of parts and consumables to off-set shrinkage. This aspect will be measured by Stock Audits.


Feedback

Provide feedback and critical observation to the Mechanical Engineer on daily issues and performance

Customer Satisfaction

Ensure a high level of customer service is provided and maintained


ISO 9001; 14001 & 18001 – Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards

Adhere to the DSFM’s Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures of as applicable to this position.


Skills and Competencies

2-3 years experience in similar environment

Knowledge of Infor EAM

MS Word & Excel
