As part of our Housekeeping Team, you will play a huge part in our daily operations and maintaining standards of cleanliness throughout the rooms and public areas.

We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic, can-do approach. With the ability to multi-task, someone who is a good team player with passion and commitment for the role.

You will need to have exceptional cleanliness standards, an eye for detail and always striving to go that extra mile for your guests.

Daily duties will include, but are not limited to:

All tasks relating to housework.

Laundry – machine wash, hand wash, hanging, ironing and packing away.

General tiding of house – cleaning of walls, windows, light switches, ornaments, all used household equipment, mopping of tiled floors, inside cupboards, polishing of floors and verandas.

Rooms – the making of beds, clearing & putting items away, wiping and dusting and cleaning outside the room

Bathrooms – Cleaning of all toilets, basins, showers, floors and windows.

Kitchen – Cleaning stove, ovens, freezer, appliances, crockery and cutlery, pots & pans, packing away of groceries, washing, drying and packing of dishes, cleaning up after breakfast, lunch, dinner and setting tables.

Replenish soap, hand sanitizer, toilet paper and tissue boxes.

Replacing dirty ashtrays with cleaner ashtrays.

Lighting candles & spraying of room fragrances.

Filling the fruit bowls

Cleaning up after meetings and guest visits.

Small mending work – replacing buttons, hems, etc.

Hygienically clean out fridge and freezers, rotate stock as per the expiration dates and restock bar fridges.

Ensure all household items are set and styled as per standard operating procedures.

General

Managing your time efficiently and being proactive.

Working with the rest of our team to offer exemplary service in every area.

Making sure that rooms are ready for arrivals.

Cleaning leisure areas

Keeping all communal areas clean

Ability to follow procedures and instructions.

Requirements:

4 years housekeeping experience required

Good communication skills

Attention to detail

Commitment to provide the highest level of guest care

Ability to follow procedures & instructions

Weekends availability

Shifts include evenings and weekends. Own transport will be essential due to our location and shift pattern.
