Job Description

A leading FMCG is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to leverage all relevant company assets in a manner which delivers sustainable growth in brand equity, sales volume, market share, competitive advantage and corporate reputation. To also lead all functional areas within the plant so that customer/stakeholder expectations are met and world class imperatives/benchmarks are achieved.

Provide leadership support and guidance to the team

Formulated and controlled expense and capital budgets

Implementation of the regional business plan to meet and exceed target for their respective regions.

Provide leadership, coaching and capability development programs to enable the sales regions to meet growth objectives for their region.

Performance manage regional employees to deliver business plan.

Implement reward, recognition and retention plans.

Formulate and execute operating expenses and capital investment budgets.

Implement the Route to Market Strategy

Execute channel and promotional execution strategies.

Build superior knowledge and understanding of the South African market including shoppers, consumers, customers categories and competitors.

Build strong relationships with local communities and implement community upliftment programmes.

Skills, Experience & Education

Qualifications


Minimum requirement: BCom or BA degree in Business, Sales or Marketing

Experience


Minimum requirement: Minimum 5 years Sales experience in an FMCG environment and Minimum of 5 years Managerial experience

Computer literate

Experienced driver with a code 08 divers licence
