In this role, you will be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements.

What You Will Do:
Ensure the accuracy of books and records according to the groups IAS, US-GAAP and statutory accounting principles, Ecolab administrative procedures and local group standards.
Reviews entries to the general ledgers to assure accuracy and compliance with established accounting principles and procedures. (SYSPRO/IScala)
Coordinate and prepare for the audits as required by the company policies and regulations.
Performs trial balances adjustments and monthly closing entries.
Examine, analyze, interpret and correct accounting records as needed to ensure accurate and reliable data necessary for business operations and for the purpose of giving advice or preparing statements.
Performs reconciliation of complex transactions.
Prepare all the Key Account Reconciliation schedules and ensure they are fully reviewed on time and submitted as per policy.
Helps the other accounting staff in the bookkeeping and reconciliations when needed to meet deadlines.
Controls payments, examines records of amounts due and makes sure invoices are paid according to terms.
Direct invoice processing and verification, expense coding, and drafting of payment checks or vouchers.
Review fixed assets register and accounting (acquisition, sales, depreciation) and performs regular inventories.
Receiving & Controlling Banks and petty cash reconciliations.
Recommends changes in the accounting system to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Provide support for Internal, External and Tax Audits as when required
Review VAT 201’s to ensure compliance with VAT Act prior to submission
Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Degree in accounting or finance
2 - 4 Years of significant work experience
